Welcoming Spirit started in 2008 as a journal for my thoughts on leading retreats. Some of the most viewed posts on the blog are my "How to Plan a Retreat" Series:

Locations and Budget Thoughts
Some off the many retreats that I've discussed on Welcoming Spirit, here they are broken out by retreat theme:
Living Joy to the Fullest
The initial write up and idea for the 'Joy' Retreat: Our Next Retreat: Living Joy to the Fullest
Finding Inspiration in 'Waterman Dave' of San Diego - We discussed 'real life heroes' to remind ourselves that we can do simple things, every day, to make the world a more welcoming place.
Greeting Cards to Share: A Retreat Activity - A small group activity; we made greeting cards for several groups to share as part of their ministry.
Stations of the Cross: Remember Also Those of Ill Will - The retreat group walked the Stations of the Cross and saw each station through new eyes.
Our Deepest Fear is that we are Powerful - A final prayer for the day.
Some thoughts as I worked towards the 'Living Joy to the Fullest' Retreat:
A Generous Kisser
Happy Purim: Hope from the Next Generation
Lent: Challenging Myself to Give up Anger
